Australian Umpire Simon Fry has been appointed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to the upcoming Ireland versus Pakistan Series in late August.

Fry, currently involved in a four-day “A” Series fixture in Townsville, will stand in two fixtures in Malahide alongside South African ICC Elite Panel Member Marais Erasmus.

Fry has been recognised by the ICC on a number of occasions over the past two years, including his Test debut in October 2015. Alongside this feat, Fry was also appointed to several ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 fixtures; Zimbabwe versus India Series in Harare in July last year; and more recently, to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in India.
