ICC Women’s World Cup Final Umpires Appointed

Paul Wilson

Two Australians will be involved in the ICC Women’s World Cup Final to be held at Lords on Sunday 23 July.

Australian Umpire Paul Wilson has been appointed as Third Umpire for the Final between England and India which will be overseen by Match Referee Steve Bernard who has also been appointed. The pair will officiate alongside field Umpires Shaun George and Gregory Brathwaite, and Fourth Umpire Ahsan Raza.

For Wilson, the appointment to the Final caps off a successful tournament both on field and in the Third Umpire’s chair. Wilson’s appointment to the Final follows his Semi Final appointment last week. Referee Bernard also oversaw England’s Semi Final victory and the appointment to the Final at Lords rounds out an excellent tournament.
