Congratulations SACUSA’s Lynton Donisthorpe

Lynton Donisthorpe

Cricket Australia wishes to congratulate Lynton Donisthorpe on umpiring his 200th SACA A Grade/Premier cricket fixture

Donisthorpe brought up the milestone in the Sturt versus Tea Tree Gully District Cricket Club fixture at Price Memorial Oval in Adelaide. In total, he has officiated in over 350 matches across men’s and women’s grade cricket in South Australia. Commencing his career in season 1998/99, Donisthorpe has also officiated in 13 WNCL; 26 WT20 and two Futures League fixtures.

Donisthorpe has been instrumental off-field too, having volunteered his time on the SACUSA Committee over many years. In 2010-2011 he began his two-year term as President, and has now served as Treasurer for the past four years. His dedication to umpiring and the SACUSA was then recognised with him being inducted as a SACUSA Life Member in 2014.
