Inclusion and diversity are a big part of Australian cricket’s strategy. It’s what helps make us Australia’s favourite sport – a sport for all Australians. It’s also a huge advantage when it comes to growing the participants, umpires, coaches and volunteers in your cricket program.

Growing Your Club, Association and Community

Clubs, associations, schools, indoor centres and others across Australia are seeing thousands of new participants through inclusion and diversity using the A Sport For All Resource Guide.

In fact, nationwide diversity participation numbers are up 79% in the last 3 years.

Just goes to show the power of creating safe, welcoming and inclusive cricket environments.

How Will The A Sport For All Resource Guide Help You?

The A Sport For All Training Guide helps create increased sustainable participation at the grassroots of cricket.

It’s been created in partnership Australia's diverse communities to provide just the kind of support they need when it comes to getting involved in cricket.

Drawing on the ‘Spirit of Cricket’, the guide helps you connect with often underrepresented communities, including:

  • Female
  • Multicultural
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
  • Disabled
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI)

It knocks down any barriers to participation. Making your cricket program safe, welcoming and inclusive for everyone.

Bringing in more players, coaches, administrators, umpires and supporters to our game.

It’s just one of the many tools available through the A Sport For All program.

The 3 Big Ideas of A Sport For All

  1. A zero tolerance for discrimination from participants and administrators at all levels of cricket
  2. Engage effectively with and provide dedicated support to diverse participants and communities
  3. Maintain cricket as Australia’s sport by ensuring that cricket is a sport for all Australians
